When it comes to curing hemorrhoids, we’ve heard all the claims. Beat hemorrhoids in a few days, destroy lifelong pain in a week, remove hemorrhoids with natural treatments and no pain… and so on and so on. All the while we know that there are painful alternatives (like surgery) that await. So what’s the truth? Where is the reality in all of these claims? This article tries to take a look and answer such questions.

As our case study we’ll look at the supplement, or rather, homeopathic treatment called Venapro. It’s one of the ones that claims to be able to, by using a completely natural solution, bring freedom from hemorrhoids in as little as a few weeks. How does it do this? They claim that it’s natural ingredients are designed to attack hemorrhoids in two ways, both by rooting out the cause of the hemorrhoid (bowel movements that are too large) and by curing it externally and making the sore itself subside. It’s a big task for a gentle homeopathic solution… perhaps a little too large. However, given enough time, there’s no reason to believe such a solution wouldn’t work.

For one thing, improving one’s diet and reducing the size of bowel movements is always going to help hemorrhoids. The longer your rectum goes un inflamed the better your chances are that it will subside. In fact, not inflaming the area further is absolutely vital. Whatever you’re doing to fix the hemorrhoid, if it gets hurt again every time you go to the toilet, it’s still going to be hurt.

The other thing Venapro does of course is to lessen the inflammation externally, though how it does so isn’t clear considering Venapro is an oral treatment. For a gentle homeopathic treatment it seems like a big ask but again… anything’s possible.
